Thunder star Durant to return to lineup Wednesday against Suns

The Oklahoma City Thunder will be getting the reigning MVP back in the lineup.

Kevin Durant, who has missed the past six games after injuring his ankle, will return to the lineup against the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday. The game can be seen on FOX Sports Arizona, starting at 5:30 p.m.

"I'm just happy that I'm playing again. This is the game that I love," Durant said after shootaround.

Durant missed the first 17 games of the season after having surgery on his right foot. He then sprained his ankle on the same foot Dec. 18, which gave the team reason to bring him along slowly.

Durant has participated in practice both Monday and Tuesday.

The Thunder are 10th in the West, 2-1/2 games behind the Phoenix Suns for eighth and final playoff spot.€Ž
