The Knicks are raving about Kristaps Porzingis

Knicks fans weren't outwardly excited when their team drafted Kristaps Porzingis fourth overall back in June's draft.
Actually, they were the opposite. They booed. One kid cried. But then Porzingis performed well at Las Vegas Summer League and the narrative around him started to change. Maybe he could be a really strong player. And at Knicks media day Monday, his teammates were pushing that latter opinion: That KP could be really, really good.
From Chris Herring of the Wall Street Journal:
Porzingis has put on 11 pounds since July, so the bigger frame that Seraphin mentioned does make sense. But if he's already a quality player (and is already beating Carmelo Anthony in one-on-one games), that could be a nice jolt of energy for a Knicks team which could use it.
