Smith reminds Knicks what they're missing with 'trash/treasure' rip

As the Cleveland Cavaliers prepare for the Eastern Conference finals, they do so hoping that hobbled point guard Kyrie Irving's knees will hold up. And having already learned how to win without Kevin Love.

Indeed, as the playoffs wear on, the importance of the early January acquisition of J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert from the New York Knicks becomes increasingly clear.

But while LeBron James is undoubtedly grateful for the contributions of Smith and Shumpert, the appreciation is greater on the other side of the equation.
