Sixers CEO defends handling of Joel Embiid injury

Nobody looks good in the aftermath of recent news that Joel Embiid won't be able to play basketball this season. Some injuries can't be prevented, some bodies weren't meant to play professional sports, and some risks were worth taking.
But the Philadelphia 76ers have still received a boat-load of criticism with regards to how they handled Embiid's recovery from surgery last offseason. There's question as to whether he re-broke his navicular bone or if it never properly healed in the first place.
Feeling a little heat under his collar, Sixers CEO Scott O'Neil took to Twitter (always a great idea) to defend how the team has dealt with this basketball tragedy, per CSN Philly.
Charles Barkley isn't convinced.
Quite a few fans are feeling deceived, too.
Now more than ever, Sixers fans need to sit on their hands and #TrustTheProcess.
