Report: Finals result won't factor into LeBron's offseason decision

The Miami Heat are on the brink of elimination, but that doesn't necessarily mean LeBron James will take his talents elsewhere if the San Antonio Spurs win the title.
James, who can opt out of his contract this summer, will not make that decision solely on the outcome of this series, ESPN reports.
Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh also can opt of their deals this offseason, which could dramatically alter Miami's roster. All three could also opt out in order to re-sign and take less money, creating cap space to potentially bring in another star. The Heat reportedly could target New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony if each of the four All-Stars takes significantly less money.
James has led the Heat to four straight Finals appearances and back-to-back NBA titles. But the two-time defending champions are one loss away from elimination after falling to the Spurs 107-86 on Thursday night.
