Report: Doctors fear Lamar Odom suffered serious brain damage

Lamar Odom isn’t doing too well, according to a new report which states he has had difficulty recognizing friends and family.

Odom has made little progress over the past few weeks, according to a report posted early Saturday by TMZ. A source tells them that he’s only able to speak a word occasionally and has been unable to recognize longtime friends and family when they come to visit. Doctors reportedly believe the former NBA star suffered significant brain damage.

Odom’s motor skills had already been questioned, but all the initial joy over the fact that he survived his overdose has given way to the reality that Odom apparently has a very long road ahead of him.
