Reggie Miller's niece found safe after going missing on Monday

Reggie Miller's 16-year-old niece is home safe and sound after giving her family a scare on Monday, according to the New York Daily News.
Nikki Miller was reported missing around 7 a.m. Monday morning when her family found her bedroom empty, though with no signs of forced entry or a struggle.
Soon after, the retired NBA star took to Twitter to ask for help finding his young niece, posting a missing child alert poster along with a number to call to pass along any information.

There's no word if it helped, but he did return to Twitter shortly after midnight to assure everyone she was home safe, tweeting "Happy to let everyone know that my niece, Nikki Miller is home. Thank you to everyone who sent prayers n thoughts, they were answered."
While the details remain scarce, police were treating it as a runaway situation.
"Everything that we discovered leads us to believe that this was not some kind of sinister act. It does not appear to be an abduction or a kidnapping. We're treating it as a runaway, a voluntary-type runaway at this time," Orange County Lt. John Roche told the Daily News on Monday, before the teen turned up safe.
