Phil Jacksonon Derrick Rose case: 'It's not something that's keeping him up at night'

Phil Jackson was asked about Derrick Rose’s ongoing sexual assault case at Knicks media day on Friday, telling reporters he didn’t think it was “something that’s keeping him up at night.”
Rose has been embroiled in a civil case surrounding an alleged sexual battery committed along with two of his associates in August 2013. His trial is set for Oct. 4 in Los Angeles, with the most recent development that his accuser must make her identity public.
“We anticipate that it won’t affect his season, games or training camp,” Jackson said, keeping his comments brief. “We’ll let it run its course,“ he added.
According to ESPN’s Ian Begley, Jackson declined comment when asked how much he had investigated Rose’s case ahead of acquiring him from the Chicago Bulls this off-season.
