Phil Jackson cryptically rips the New York Knicks on Twitter

Phil Jackson has always been one to speak his mind. Sunday provided no exception to that rule.

After Jackson's New York Knicks got rocked by the Cleveland Cavaliers at home, the Knicks' second straight blowout at Madison Square Garden to begin life after the All-Star break, the team's president fired off some serious criticism.

It's not a big surprise to see this outspoken commentary from Jackson. Eleven rings (and this tremendous first-ever tweet) will earn anyone the right to be candid, and it's not like the Knicks don't deserve it.

After falling to Cleveland by a 101-83 score in Sunday's game, the Knicks have dropped to 10-45 on the season. Even worse, they're 0-15 in games without Carmelo Anthony, who has just been ruled out for the year after knee surgery. So, what are the Knicks to do?

Obviously, losing at this point is more beneficial than winning. New York currently has the worst record in the NBA, and gunning for the first overall pick is the only way to go—not that the organization has much of a choice, anyway. What Jackson wants, though, is some pride, some effort from a team which has shown a propensity to lag at times throughout the season. Phil's going to be around for the long-term, and if the Knicks are about to lose 65 games, we might see some more Twitter rants like this one before the season ends.
