Pau Gasol is bummed his NBA 2k17 overall is lower than Marc Gasol's

Pau and Marc Gasol, possibly one of the greatest brother duos in NBA history, will always be compared under a plethora of criteria. Marc, of the Memphis Grizzlies, picked up the latest ‘W,’ narrowly having a higher NBA 2k17 rating than his big brother.

With the influx of European talent coming into the NBA, being the second-highest rated player from across the pond on NBA 2k17 is a huge accomplishment. Not often are you also the second-highest rated player in your family, though, as San Antonio Spurs forward Pau Gasol is to Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol.

Despite having a 12-9 advantage in head-to-head games and two championship rings, Pau admitted it’s had a bit of an effect on his ego.

He continued to tell EuroHoops.net that when taking his age into account, it’s still an impressive feat.

Very true. If Marc can rebound from injuries that ended his year, Memphis Grizzlies fans have their fingers crossed that he can inherit the long-term longevity his brother has.

Pau, who is on the cover of NBA 2k17 in Europe, said he wishes his virtual player played like two very transcendent NBA figures.

Marc wasn’t available for comment in the interview, but we’ll just assume that his favorite player to use is named “Marc Gasol.”
