Nuggets sign high-scoring D-Leaguer with PG Nelson nursing hip injury

The Denver Nuggets signed guard Sean Kilpatrick to a 10-day contract, the team announced Tuesday. 

Denver needed depth at guard after a right hip injury put Jameer Nelson on the shelf for Sunday's game. He is listed as day-to-day.

Kilpatrick, a former All-American at Cincinnati who went undrafted, has been playing for the D-League's Delaware 87ers and averaging 27.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals in 22 games.
