The NBA has fined Denver Nuggets forward Jordan Hamilton $25,000 for yelling profane language at a fan during Tuesday's game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Hamilton was caught on national television yelling profanities with 3:50 left in the fourth quarter as he walked back onto the court after chasing a ball out of bounds behind the baseline.

He finished with 16 points, four rebounds and an assist in the 112-100 loss.

Hamilton, 22, was the Nuggets' first-round pick in the 2011 NBA draft and is averaging 6.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game.
