Nets prank Drake on Barclays Center scoreboard

Updated Mar. 5, 2020 1:10 a.m. ET

UPDATE: Looks like the Nets / Barclays Center brain trust knew what it was doing — after forcing a Game 7 in Toronto, the Nets won the clincher in a thriller on Sunday afternoon, 104-103, thanks to Paul Pierce's big-time defensive stand on the game's final play.

But hey, at least Raptors fans and Drake can enjoy a lint-free offseason.

Drake has become the unofficial mascot of the Toronto Raptors during their first-round playoff series against the Brooklyn Nets, which has in turn made him a running joke throughout the NBA playoffs.

Of course, the Nets had to get in on that action.

During Game 6 at the Barclays Center on Friday night, the Nets took the liberty to show Drake on the scoreboard while the Raptors were down 14 in the second quarter. To add insult to injury, they blasted Jay Z and overlayed a Nets jersey onto Drake. Needless to say, Drake did not look happy.

The Nets went on to win it 97-83, forcing a Game 7.

Check out the video of the Nets' prank on Drake below, with a hat tip to For The Win.
