Nene out as Nuggets get Afflalo, Andersen back

Published Apr. 12, 2011 3:50 a.m. ET

Nuggets center Nene left Denver's game against Golden State at halftime Monday night with a strained left groin.

Nene was listed as day-to-day. He was replaced by Kosta Koufos to start the second half.

Nene got hurt on the same night the Nuggets finally got forward Arron Afflalo and Chris Andersen back in the lineup. Afflalo left the game 2 1/2 minutes into the second half and the Nuggets said he wouldn't return as a precaution.

Afflalo had missed 11 of the team's previous 15 games with a strained left hamstring, and Andersen hadn't played since spraining his right ankle April 1.
