NBA Rumors: Miami Heat doctors reportedly told Chris Bosh that his career was likely over after being diagnosed with a second blood clot

The Miami Heat open training camp next week. We still don’t know whether Chris Bosh will or will not be on the court when practice officially begins.

However, Bosh released a first installment of a documentary on Uninterrupted.com in which he admitted that the Heat doctors essentially told him that his career was over when he was diagnosed with a second blood clot last season.

In short, Bosh was not happy.

Miami Heat doctors told Chris Bosh his career was probably over during the winter after the discovery of a second blood clot in his leg and Bosh has been fighting the diagnosis for the past six months, Bosh revealed in the first installment of a documentary debuting Wednesday on Uninterrupted.com.

“Seeing the team doctors, they told me that my season is over, my career is probably over and this just happens, this is just how it is,” Bosh said. “I felt right away that I was written off.”

“I know inside me I have a lot talent and a lot of ability. I have it. I know I have it. It wasn’t a matter of if I play again, it was when. So we took the bull by the horns.”

Bosh has been on record stating that he plans on resuming his NBA career. However, if the Heat aren’t willing to clear him, and we’ll find out more in the next couple of days, as training camps open next week, then I’m not sure how exactly we’re ever supposed to see Bosh back on a basketball court.

Again, we should know more in the coming days. However, from all indications, this appears like it’s going to get a lot messier than clearer. Buckle up.
