NBA Rumors: Chris Bosh Doesn't Pass Miami Heat Physical; Career Over?

NBA Rumors: Miami Heat’s Chris Bosh has reportedly failed his physical with the team and will not be cleared; his career could be over
The expectation, albeit cautiously, was that Chris Bosh would be cleared this week in order for him to join the Miami Heat in training camp next week.
Instead, after failing his physical, it’s appearing more and more like Bosh’s NBA career could very well be over.
According to the Miami Herald’s Barry Jackson, evidence of continued clotting has derailed Bosh’s attempt at a comeback at this time. Officially, the Miami Heat did not clear Bosh after his pre-camp examination.

A complication has arisen in medical tests involving Heat forward Chris Bosh, derailing his attempted comeback, according to a source.
The complication involved evidence of some continued clotting and is believed to be related to one of two previous blood clot episodes
…
Though the complication is not considered life-threatening if treated, it requires medication and playing with it is considered unrealistic.
The Heat had gone into this week expecting to clear Bosh to resume his career this season, according to multiple sources briefed on the situation. But his clearance by the Heat always was contingent on Bosh passing his physical and no issues surfacing during a battery of Heat-administered medical tests this week.
And when an issue arose in blood work this week, the Heat concluded he could not be cleared to return.
This has to be crippling news, if true, for both Bosh and the Miami Heat. Even though the two parties didn’t exactly see eye-to-eye over the last few months, I don’t think that there was any doubt that both wanted the best for Bosh and his family.
Right now, playing in the NBA simply doesn’t seem like a realistic possibility for Bosh going forward, assuming that all the information given is in fact on par with what Bosh and the Heat know.
Unfortunately, this is might be the way that Bosh makes his exit from professional basketball. And for the Heat, from the Big Three era.
