Michael Malone solidifies his assistant coaching staff in Denver

Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors showed the importance of a strong assistant coaching staff during their championship run, and it's a lesson Michael Malone apparently took to heart as he finalized his staff.

According to Chris Dempsey of the Denver Post, Malone's staff will include Wes Unseld, Jr., Ed Pinckney, Chris Fleming, Micah Nori and Ryan Bowen. As Dempsey reports, Pinckney, who was most recently an assistant coach under Tom Thibodeau, will be the lead assistant. Unseld, Jr. is the son of Wes Unseld, and was most recently an assistant coach with the Orlando Magic.
