The Memphis Grizzlies face the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden on October 29th, 2016. Here is all the information you need to watch the game.

The Memphis Grizzlies make their lone visit of the 2016-17 to the New York Knicks tonight. The Grizzlies come into the game 1-0, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves on opening night. The Knicks lost on opening night, as they were blitzed by the Cleveland Cavaliers following their ring ceremony.

The Grizzlies showed a lot of fortitude in David Fizdale’s first game as head coach. The Timberwolves opened a 20-3 lead quickly, but the Grizzlies were able to overcome that for a 102-98 victory.

The Knicks had no such luck. They hung around for the first half, but the well-oiled machine of the Cavaliers dominated the third quarter. The Knicks looked out of sorts at times, which is to be expected. Their starting lineup played zero minutes together during the preseason, so there will be time needed to get some chemistry.

Tonight is the home opener for the Knicks, as multiple people will be making their Madison Square Garden debut. The World’s Most Famous Arena should be pumped for opening night, as it is the first time the home fans will see Derrick Rose on the court.

Rose had a good debut with the Knicks, as he scored 17 points against the Cavaliers. The same cannot be said for Joakim Noah and Courtney Lee, who both went scoreless on opening night.

It will be interesting to see how Jeff Hornacek uses his rotation tonight/ Justin Holiday and Mindaugas Kuzminskas provided good minutes, as well as Willy Hernangomez and Ron Baker. They may have gotten most of their minutes in garbage time, but they were productive nonetheless.

While the Knicks free agent signings will in the lineup tonight, the Grizzlies will not have theirs. Big money free agent Chandler Parsons will be out once again. Parsons is recovering from a second knee surgery, the second consecutive time his season was cut short for knee surgery.
