Magic's Bass hurt against Grizzlies

Orlando Magic forward Brandon Bass appeared to injure his left leg with 3:59 left in the third quarter against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night and was helped off the court.

Bass went down clutching his leg and was helped to the locker room after play was stopped on a foul by Jameer Nelson. Bass, in his sixth season out of LSU, rolled his ankle when he landed on Zach Randolph's left foot as he came down from a jump shot.

Memphis led 76-68 at the time.

Bass averages 11.1 points and 5.7 rebounds for Orlando. He had 13 points and three rebounds at the time of the injury.
