Lakers' World Peace voted off 'Dancing'

Lakers forward Metta World Peace, formerly known as Ron Artest, Tuesday night became the first athlete in 13 seasons of "Dancing with the Stars" to be the first voted out, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
World Peace, 31, had the lowest judges' score of 14 out of 30 for his cha cha with partner Peta Murgatroyd and did not attract enough votes to keep him alive.
On hearing the news, World Peace did not seem too troubled, People reported.
"Who's coming with me?" he asked the crowd. "Everybody give a round of applause to Peta -- she was awesome!"
"I had a great, great time," he added.
This season of "DWTS" also features the transgender son of Sonny and Cher, Chaz Bono, TV host and legal commentator Nancy Grace, actor David Arquette and George Clooney's ex-girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis.
