Kobe's knee OK in practice with Lakers

Published Oct. 2, 2010 1:00 a.m. ET

Kobe Bryant's surgically repaired knee isn't showing any adverse effects from a trans-Atlantic flight to London for a preseason game.

Bryant completed a full practice session on Saturday. The Los Angeles Lakers are preparing to play the Minnesota Timberwolves on Monday to kick off the NBA's annual European preseason tour. It was only Bryant's second scrimmage since training camp began after arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

Bryant said his knee ''felt more solid than it did the last time, so it's a good development.''

He said he hopes the defending champions give British fans at the O2 Arena ''something to remember'' Monday night. However, his own minutes are likely to be limited.
