According to Anthony Slater of the Daily Oklahoman, the book Bryant received featured hand-written note from each of the Thunder's players:
The next logical question, of course, is how honest was Durant? Because in his cameo in a recent Nike spot honoring Mamba Day (April 13th), Durant described Bryant with a popular expletive for the Mamba. We highly doubt he used the same verbage in his note.
The Thunder also honored Bryant with a special pre-game introduction video featuring his high school coach, Gregg Downer.
Among all the crazy retirment gifts and tributes Bryant has recieved, this was a classy, nice gesture.
