Josh Smith: 'I feel like I have top-10 talent'

Josh Smith's stint with the Houston Rockets has been brilliant and miserable, sometimes touching both ends of the spectrum in the same night. He's a polarizing 29-year-old, one who views himself differently than the general public does.
Smith said as much during a recent interview on Grantland with Charles Bethea. When asked what his ceiling is as a player, here was Smith's response:
"I feel like I have top-10 talent. Most guys will say that, though. [laughs.] You definitely have to have confidence in the profession that I’m in."
Smith helped spearhead Houston's miraculous comeback against the Los Angeles Clippers in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals and was one of the team's lead ball-handlers in the first round.
But it goes without saying that he isn't one of the 50 best players in basketball, let alone a top-10 talent.
