Jones joining WNBA's Shock

Ready for a Shock?
Disgraced sprinter Marion Jones is making a comeback.
No, she won't be going for gold medals. But she will be
sprinting up and down the court for the WNBA's Tulsa Shock.
The team will announce her signing as a rookie free agent at
an 11 a.m. news conference today
Tulsa World is reporting.
Shock head coach Nolan Richardson told Tulsa World,
“We’re thrilled to have her. In the workouts last week
I saw how hard she works. She has things you can’t teach,
like speed and great hand and eye coordination. She looks chiseled.
Her age (34) might be saying one thing but everything about her is
saying she’s young."
Jones played for North Carolina's 1994 championship team and
was also a third round selection by the Phoenix Mercury in the 203
WNBA Draft.
Jones, who has been stripped of her Olympic medals after she
confessed to using steroids, served six months in prison in 2008 on
a perjury and check-fraud conviction.
She is also just eight months removed from the birth of her
third child.
