Jimmy Butler: 'I haven't guarded a soul'

The Chicago Bulls have hit a wall against the Milwaukee Bucks, and are facing a tough challenge after dropping two straight against them. The playoff series between the two heads back to Wisconsin 3-2 on Thursday night, with the Bulls looking to avoid a dreaded seventh game on Sunday.
Jimmy Butler has a theory about what he has to do, to avoid such a fate. "I’m supposed to be the primetime defensive guy and I haven’t guarded a soul,” Butler told reporters after Monday's loss. “I’m worried about offense too much."
Butler's morphing role points to a larger reality: These Bulls are figuring themselves out on the fly. After years spent without Derrick Rose and now having him, plus the injection of Pau Gasol into the roster and a less spry version of Joakim Noah, this isn't quite the Chicago squad we're used to. We'll see if they can find enough identity to dispatch Milwaukee on Thursday, and move on to fight LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round.
