Jazz's Rudy Gobert calls out Derrick Favors' Team USA exclusion on Twitter

There might not be a better young defensive big man in the league than Rudy Gobert of the Utah Jazz. And that defensive prowess extends off the court, it seems, as the center took to Twitter to share his disbelief that teammate Derrick Favors was left off of the Team USA roster for camp this week.
The roster is 34 players deep, so you can understand Gobert's consternation. Mason Plumlee and Michael Carter-Williams are fine players, for example, but do they really give Team USA a better shot at winning gold in 2016 than Favors would?
In the end, it's not really a huge deal. The final roster is just 12 players, and Favors almost certainly wasn't going to make that squad. But the development and experience that players get at Team USA camp are unlike anything else. It would have been nice for Favors to brush shoulders with some of the NBA's greatest players and coaches, if just for a week.
