HOUSTON (AP) Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard will not play in Saturday night's game against the Golden State Warriors, the team announced shortly before tip-off.

Howard was dealing with flu-like symptoms for the undefeated Rockets (6-0) as they take on the also undefeated Warriors (4-0). Undrafted rookie center Tarik Black will make his first career start in Howard's absence.

In four games, Black is averaging less than 14 minutes per game, 1.5 points and 2.3 rebounds.

Howard is averaging 19.7 points, 11.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game for the streaking Rockets.
