Houston Rockets are finalizing preparations for the 2016-17 season including waived players and final players who’ll join the team. As previously stated the final cut came later though as media sources confirmed a shocking Tyler Ennis waive. Conversely this move never came to fruition as Shams Charania from The Vertical confirmed afterwards via twitter:

Above all, this configures to a refreshing decision for the Rockets as the team look to prioritize young talent over veteran experience.

Additionally the Rockets are expected to keep youngster sensation Kyle Wiltjer.

Likewise point guard Bobby Brown known for his friendship with James Harden seems to have impressed Head Coach Mike D’Antoni after his preseason game against the Spurs.

Both players took to twitter to celebrate their signings:

On the other hand there’s still no news regarding Donatas Motiejunas future. Indeed D-Mo’s career with the Rockets looks as good as done.

Regardless, it’s worth noting that all players waived today are eligible for the Rio Grande Valley D-League roster.
