High Ceilings and Clear Limitations: Previewing the Indiana Pacers 2016-17 Season

This week, I had the pleasure of joining Nate Duncan to preview the Indiana Pacers upcoming season on his Dunc’d On podcast.

We go in depth for about an hour and fans will be impressed you the knowledge that Duncan has of the team. I have done many similar shoes over the past few years and the level of discourse can be a bit shallow, generally talking Paul George, a few other high points and then calling it a day.

But while me and Nate differ a bit on our outlooks for the team (I expect a bunch more wins) and specifically the offense (I think they have a good shot of being very potent), Nate speakso from wisdom and great research.

Ultimately, we highlight what currently stands as an unpredictable season. It could break either way, with two-seed potential or a mismatched roster that never figures out how to make all the talent work before imploding.
