For the first time in 20 years, the San Antonio Spurs started a season without Tim Duncan on their roster. And it looks like no one is taking it harder than Gregg Popovich, who coached Duncan every year of his sure-to-be Hall of Fame career.
So how is Pop coping without having Duncan, who has made a few cameos as a coach this offseason, by his side?
When asked by TNT sideline reporter David Aldridge on Tuesday night, Pop said he’s fining his former big man.

“Tim is being fined $2,500 a day every day he doesn’t show up,” Pop said with not even the hint of a grin.
Yeah, Popovich looks really broken up about the whole thing.
