Former Net Jarrett Jack laughed hysterically after Brooklyn signed Jeremy Lin

At approximately 10:00 a.m. ET on Friday, news broke that free agent point guard Jeremy Lin signed a $3-year, $36 million deal with the Brooklyn Nets.
At 10:25 a.m., former Nets point guard Jarrett Jack, waived by the team one day earlier, reacted to something that triggered a long string of laughter:
The timing of Jack's tweet, at best, is curious. A lot of folks have responded to Jack with accusations of saltiness over Brooklyn bringing Linsanity back to New York:

Hey, maybe he was watching "What About Bob?" or "Ted 2." Just kidding -- "Ted 2" isn't funny.

By virtue of waiving Jack by the June 30 deadline, the Nets owe him $500,000 instead of $6.3 million next season had the 32-year-old remained on the roster. Jack's 2015-2016 season ended in January when he suffered a torn ACL.
