Expect sweeping changes again for Mavericks this summer

Published Apr. 24, 2015 2:56 p.m. ET

The Mavericks have made a habit of re-tooling on the fly around Dirk Nowitzki every summer since winning the title in 2011.

This offseason should be no different, with Rajon Rondo, Monta Ellis and Tyson Chandler all free agents who could (and probably will) be on different teams next year. Here's The Dallas Morning News' Eddie Sefko with more.

"As for Monta Ellis and Rajon Rondo, the way things are going, it's doubtful either returns. I do think the Mavericks want to bring back Aminu and Barea, but Stoudemire might be moving along. All subject to change, by the way, pending the way the next week goes."

It's been a rough few months for Dallas. But they've been known to turn things around (at least on paper) in the summertime. Can they do it again come July?
