Emmanuel Mudiay's vision is opening eyes at summer league

It's hard, incredibly hard, to evaluate any player during summer league basketball. The quality of player, as well as the quality of players, is nowhere near that of the NBA. But that doesn't mean an impressive performance should be totally disregarded, especially if it shows off a player's specific skill. In the case of Emmanuel Mudiay, his vision has been turning heads early on at summer league. Here's Rob Mahoney of Sports Illustrated with more:
"Just before the defense can settle, Mudiay creates. A cross-court pass will zip into the pocket of an available teammate from a difficult angle, bringing his drive-and-kick to a potent conclusion. Rare are those point guards who can not just find and exploit openings, but also keep defenses guessing. Mudiay has some of that spice—the ability to look past a good first option into a great (but challenging) second option."
It will take time for Mudiay to adjust to NBA defenses, but his advanced vision gives him a head start.
