Duncan leads Spurs to rout of Suns for 11th straight win

SAN ANTONIO (AP) Tim Duncan had 22 points and 10 rebounds and the San Antonio Spurs cruised to their 11th straight victory, 107-91 over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night.
San Antonio a half-game ahead of Memphis for the Southwest Division lead and second place in the Western Conference. The Spurs didn't trail after the Suns' opening basket and won for the 21st time in 24 games.
Kawhi Leonard had 18 points and nine rebounds, Marco Belinelli added 13 points and Tony Parker had 10 points and five assists for San Antonio.
Gerald Green had 23 points and Eric Bledsoe had 20 points and 10 assists to lead Phoenix, which has lost four straight and nine of 10.
The Spurs failed to make a basket for 4:20 bridging the first and second quarters but never relinquished their lead. San Antonio then had a 15-6 run in taking a 38-24 lead midway through the second quarter.
The Spurs' efforts even drew some on-court praise from coach Gregg Popovich. Parker stole the ball near midcourt during the fourth quarter and raced in for a layup, prompting claps of appreciation and ''good jobs'' from Popovich during the ensuing timeout by Phoenix.

Suns: The Suns were assessed a technical foul at the start of the second quarter because G Jerel McNeal was not listed on their active roster. McNeal, who was signed to a 10-day contract, entered the game with 2:24 remaining in the first quarter in place of Bledsoe. He played the remainder of the period before the error was caught prior to the start of the second quarter. Because McNeal wasn't listed on the roster, the statisticians had to list Brandon Knight as the player who entered the game. Knight was unavailable to play. ... Phoenix is 10-16 since trading point guards Isaiah Thomas and Goran Dragic on Feb. 19. ... The Suns closed the season losing six straight road game. Phoenix closes its season Tuesday in Los Angeles against the Clippers.
Spurs: C Tiago Splitter (tightness, right calf) missed his fifth straight game, but his absence was precautionary. Popovich said Splitter ''probably would play'' if Sunday was a playoff game. ... G Danny Green had three 3-pointers, setting a franchise record for most 3-pointers in a season at 191. ''The Rifleman,'' Chuck Person, held the previous record with 190 in 1996. Green finished with 12 points while shooting 3 for 6 on 3-pointers. ... F/C Matt Bonner (tightness, right calf) missed his fourth game of the season due to injury.
