Doc Rivers calls out quiet Rockets crowd in Clippers' Game 1 win

Doc Rivers always speaks his mind, and sometimes it costs him dearly.

Monday night wasn't one of those times.

Rivers' Los Angeles Clippers erased a first-half deficit to take the lead over the Houston Rockets in the second half, and that had the head coach feeling pretty good.

So during a rather quiet lull in the action at Toyota Center, Rivers decided to have a little fun with the Houston crowd.

Consider yourselves trolled, Rockets fans.

Of course, taunting a home crowd in Game 1 of an NBA playoff series might not be the best idea, especially when your team is missing Chris Paul, who sat out Monday with a hamstring injury.

But the Clippers backed up Rivers' smack, outscoring the Rockets by 20 points in the second half to surge to a 117-101 win.
