Dillard has 33 to lead Blazers past Grizzlies 112-

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 12:53 p.m. ET

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) Damian Lillard scored 33 points, C.J. McCollum had six of his 21 points in overtime as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the Memphis Grizzlies 112-106 on Monday night.

McCollum scored the first three baskets of the overtime to create a buffer for the Trail Blazers.

Mike Conley led Memphis with 27 points, while Zach Randolph added 26 points as Memphis lost its second straight overtime game.

The teams were tied at 102 at the end of regulation after Allen Crabbe was credited with a tip-in for Portland as the horn sounded - a shot actually tipped in by Memphis' Jeff Green.

The play was reviewed not only regarding whether the tip-in was in time, but whether there was basket interference. Officials ruled the basket good, sending the game to the extra period.

Marc Gasol scored 11 points before leaving late in the first quarter with a right foot injury. He did not return.

Gerald Henderson scored 16 for Portland, while Crabbe finished with 13.

Mario Chalmers and Green had 12 apiece for Memphis.

The game was close throughout with both teams' biggest leads reaching six points. There were 18 ties and 17 lead changes.

Lillard made a 7-footer with 23.4 second left in regulation for a 100-99 lead. Conley answered with a floater in the lane 3 seconds later and Tony Allen would split a pair of free throws to give Memphis a 102-100 lead.

That set the stage for the frantic play at the end of regulation. After Lillard missed a jumper, there were several tips at the basket before the ball went through as the horn sounded.

Crabbe was credited with the basket, but Green appeared to be the hand that tipped it in.

After McCollum's first three baskets of overtime, Memphis tried to claw back and appeared to have a chance. Trailing 108-106, Allen stole the ball with about 10 seconds left but missed the layup on the other end, and the Grizzlies never got closer.
