DeMar DeRozan receives All-Star attention from daughter, also Drake

We're approaching the final hours to select 2016's NBA All-Star candidates, which means all of the best endorsements are emerging. Toronto's DeMar DeRozan received some special help.
On Sunday night, Toronto-born rapper and pop icon Drake posted an Instagram photo suggesting his fans vote DeMar DeRozan (and teammate Kyle Lowry) to the All-Star game, which will be in Toronto. Drake is no subtle influence: his Instagram account has more than 18.1 million followers.
While the Instagram post itself doesn't count for a vote, his encouragement certainly won't hurt. The post got 150,000 likes. In the most recent results, DeRozan was sixth in the Eastern Conference for guards -- behind John Wall, Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, Kyrie Irving and Dwyane Wade.
DeRozan also received help from his own daughter, Diar, on Instagram. While she doesn't quite have the notability of Drake, her post was significantly more adorable.
"Bote my daddy!" mispronounces Diar, with a ridiculously charming smile. Then, for those of you who thought the video couldn't get any better, Diar waves and says "Hi!" to conclude the short clip.
If that doesn't make you want to #NBAVote for DeMar DeRozan, then we simply don't know what could. All-Star voting concludes January 18 at 11:59 p.m. EST.
