Clippers center DeAndre Jordan missed Sunday's game against the Phoenix Suns after spending the night in a hospital with a mild case of pneumonia.

Jordan was admitted to Marina Del Rey Hospital on Saturday night, getting intravenous antibiotics and several tests. He was released Sunday during the Clippers' afternoon game.

Former All-Star Chris Kaman started in Jordan's spot.

Jordan averaged 7.0 points, 7.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks while playing in each of the Clippers' first 70 games, starting 61. The third-year pro has emerged as a defensive standout alongside All-Star Blake Griffin in Los Angeles' front line.
