Chicago Bulls vs. Dallas Mavericks: Game and Watch Info

Coming off of their most impressive win of the season, the Bulls will head to Dallas to take on the Mavericks on the second night of a back-to-back.
The Bulls kicked off one of the most difficult stretches of their schedule on Friday night against Cleveland. Chicago played its first of six games in nine days. Nonetheless, the Bulls began this grueling stretch with unquestionably their best win of the season.
After the game, Dwyane Wade talked about what it took for the Bulls to take down the powerhouse of the Eastern Conference: “No egos involved at all, just a total team effort, man, just a good way to win. No matter who you’re playing, the way that we played is the way we want to play to win.”
Saturday night, Chicago looks to keep it going against a struggling Mavericks squad. Dallas has been so bad that there has been some speculation as to whether or not the franchise should tank this season.
Mavericks owner Mark Cuban shot that down earlier this week by saying: “This is not a race-to-the-bottom year, so we get every chance to be as good as we can be. The team that has the worst record has a 75 percent chance that they won’t get the No. 1 pick. That’s not good odds. You’ll get a top-three pick … but there’s no good reason to tank unless you think that there’s three difference-makers. Not just All-Stars, but difference-makers.”
The Bulls should come in with a ton of momentum following a win over Cleveland.
However, as was evident against the Lakers earlier this week, the Bulls are still prone to let down games. They cannot afford to rest on their laurels as they travel to Dallas.
Chicago has to take care of business against an opponent they should beat at this point.
