Cavaliers veteran forward Shawn Marion is expected to miss two weeks with a hip injury.

Marion did not travel with the Cavaliers to Detroit for Tuesday night's game against the Pistons. Cleveland has won 16 of its past 18 games.

A four-time All-Star, Marion recently announced that this will be his final NBA season. He signed as a free agent with the Cavaliers to try to win a second title. Marion has extensive postseason experience, and the Cavalierss want him healthy for the playoffs.

Marion is averaging a career-low 4.9 points in 20 minutes per game this season. He spent the previous five seasons with Dallas, helping the Mavericks win a championship in 2011.
