Carmelo Anthony praises Knicks front office: 'We have a very special team on paper'

The New York Knicks underwent a dramatic makeover this offseason, adding players who on paper have plenty of star power. It was definitely enough to put their superstar Carmelo Anthony in a positive mood.
"We have a very special team on paper," Anthony told reporters Monday in Las Vegas as he prepares with Team USA for the Olympics. "The front office stepped up. It was a collective effort. They did their job."

There's no arguing with Melo in that regard. Adding Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah to play alongside Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis is definitely a formidable foursome.
But the bigger question involving the new-look Knicks has to do with their health. Each of those four players has missed time during their careers due to injuries, with Rose playing in just 100 of a possible 312 games before last season.
Expectations will be high next season as the Knicks look to end a string of three consecutive seasons without a playoff appearance.
