Calif firm sues Gilbert Arenas for gun fees

Published May. 1, 2010 12:39 a.m. ET

Gilbert Arenas has more gun problems.

In March, the Washington Wizards guard got 30 days in a halfway house for bringing guns into the team's locker room.

Now a lawsuit claims he owes a Beverly Hills company more than $70,000 for storing guns he bought and never picked up.

Tactical Operations sued Arenas last week in Los Angeles County Superior Court in Santa Monica. The firm claims it obtained five Beretta pistols with silencers for Arenas in 2006.

The suit says Arenas bought the guns but refused to pick them up. Attorney Burton Jacobson says the firm is selling the weapons but Arenas owes storage fees and interest.

A call to Arenas' attorney, Ken Wainstein, wasn't immediately returned Friday.
