Billy Donovan says Kevin Durant's injury is 'nothing too serious'

Oklahoma City Thunder head coach Billy Donovan eased the concerns of the Thunder faithful on Thursday when he said that Kevin Durant's latest hamstring injury is "nothing too serious" and that the 2013-14 MVP isn't too frustrated or concerned with the setback, according to The Daily Oklahoman.
“All these guys have been playing for a long time, and they understand that every time you step on the floor there’s an opportunity that you could get hurt,” Donovan said. “Thank God it’s nothing too serious for him. We’ll re-evaluate him in seven to 10 days to see where he’s at, but for the most part it’s a blessing for Kevin that it’s not something that’s really long term for him. He’ll work hard and get himself back, get himself healthy, and he’ll pick up where he left off.”
Durant was not made available to the media on Thursday.
Durant has averaged 28.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.25 blocks to help lead the Thunder and new coach Billy Donovan to a 5-3 start.
