Anthony Davis' agent: 'New Orleans is where he wants to be'

Sure, the record $145 million contract extension that he signed and that only the New Orleans Pelicans could offer is pretty nice. But for Anthony Davis, the decision to sign that contract and commit to the Pelicans came down to the fact that he loves New Orleans, and it's where he wants to be.
So said Davis' agent, Thad Foucher, according to the Times-Picayune:
"What (Davis) really wants to do is pay the city (New Orleans) back for what they've given him and he feels it is his turn to show people he appreciates them and their support. He's a guy that doesn't want to leave. (New Orleans) is where he wants to be."
And that appreciation from Davis extends to the organization, not just the fans. According to Foucher, Davis appreciated how the team committed to him fully, which led Davis to want to commit in kind to New Orleans.
