A Joe Biden motorcade caused a headache for the Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cleveland Cavaliers eked out a one-point win on the road over the 76ers to remain undefeated on the season, and congestion on the roads in Philadelphia Saturday afternoon may have made the game closer than it would have been on a normal day.

The Cavaliers' team bus from their hotel to the Wells Fargo Center was delayed due to traffic caused by a Vice Presidential motorcade, as Joe Biden has been making stops in Pennsylvania to campaign for Hillary Clinton prior to the election.

Kyrie Irving was one of a few players to ditch the bus and take an Uber the rest of the way to the arena, but he arrived later than expected and had to change his usual pre-game routine. Irving made just three of his 17 shots from the field and scored a season-low eight points in the game.

"Kyrie didn't have it going offensively. I think with the vice president being in town, him not being able to get shots up before the game might have thrown his rhythm off a little bit," [Cavaliers coach Tyronn] Lue said.

Irving said his pregame shooting routine was cut from 20 minutes down to nine minutes because of the delay.

"You come in shooting pretty well, feeling pretty confident, feel like I've got a routine going," Irving said, "and then it kind of gets messed up."
