Yankees slugger A-Rod working out

Sure, Alex Rodriguez won't be in the Yankees lineup on Opening Day.

Thanks to offseason surgery to repair a torn labrum, the 37-year-old slugger likely will be out until at least the All-Star break.

But don't worry Yankee fans, A-Rod is working out and doing his best to be ready sooner than later.

On Friday, Rodriguez posted pictures of him working out on Facebook with the message, "The rehab journey continues. Ready to support the New York Yankees."

Reader comments varied from support to criticism — with several posts referring to "cheat" and "steroids."

But A-Rod must have expected the haters to voice their opinions, right?
