Say what you want about Tim Tebow's pursuit of a career in baseball, but the man's career could not have gotten off to a hotter start than it did on Wednesday.

In his first instructional league game with the New York Mets, the 29-year-old Tebow swung at the first pitch he saw ... and he went deep. Check out the dinger below and watch the crowd go nuts! (But not really.)

It's a dream start to the journey for Tebow, the former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner. For those who are already exhausted of the constant media frenzy that is Tebowmania, this is basically a nightmare.
