Two fans with beer, two very different results with foul balls

Ranking the things that can help you catch a foul ball at a baseball stadium: 1. a glove, 2. a plastic cup (either with or without beer), 3. (or much lower) a can of beer.

On Saturday, fans holding the latter two items had quite the opposite result in fielding a foul ball.

First, this guy at the Braves-Blue Jays game in Toronto attempts to make a snag while holding onto his can of beer. Result: No ball, and suds all over his shirt.

On the other hand, this woman at Wrigley Field for the Padres-Cubs game caught the ball right in her cup and -- just as impressively -- then chugged the remainder of her brew.
