Tilt! Watch Curtis Partch hit batter, catcher AND umpire with just one pitch

Pitcher Curtis Partch pulled off a minor-league jackpot on Monday night, hitting the batter, the catcher and the umpire in just one throw.

This rare hat trick of a pitch occurred as the Cincinnati Reds triple-A affiliate Louisville Bats faced the Charlotte Knights at Louisville Slugger Field.

"It's just a freak thing ... I could see it hit the batter, I felt it hit me and I could hear it hit the umpire," Bats catcher Tucker Barnhart told Big League Stew. "I'd equate it to hockey, when you see a puck deflected off a couple of different things and go into the back of the net."

Barnhart told Big League Stew that no serious injuries were sustained and "the umpire and myself had a laugh about it."

Despite the trifecta, the Bats still managed to emerge victorious over the Knights, 6-5.
