CLEVELAND (AP) The Detroit Tigers have placed left-hander Daniel Norris on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right oblique.

Norris left Monday's game against Cleveland in the third inning with the injury. Norris, who is 1-0 with a 4.85 ERA, was making his fourth appearance of the season with the Tigers.

Right-hander Jordan Zimmermann was placed on the 15-day DL on Monday because of a right neck strain. He's 9-4 with a 3.95 ERA in 15 starts and leads the team in wins.

Zimmermann was scheduled to start Tuesday but was replaced by right-hander Anibal Sanchez.

Right-hander Buck Farmer has been recalled from Triple-A Toledo to take Norris' roster spot. He has a 2.70 ERA in nine relief appearances for Detroit this season.
